From a natural bird sanctuary, to a quaint hunting lodge, to what Driftwood Key is today, our history is rich and interesting.
The DKC neighborhood boasts an incredible collection of natural and engineered amentities that serve to entertain members and our visitors.
The clubhouse and waterfront pavilion are a magnificent location for weddings, parties, or gatherings of any sort.
DKC's paid staff keeps the community's wheels turning.

FROM THE PRESIDENT
My wife and I moved here in 2015 to be near the grandkids. That seems to be a recurring theme for some of our members. Driftwood Key has many volunteer activities and several of our facilities have been constructed with volunteer labor. We have an annual Driftwood Key Day in May which we celebrate as the opening day of summer boating season although there are many members that boat year round. There are various events throughout the year.
We have a nine-member, elected Board of Trustees and multiple committees to assist in the overall operation of our community. Because of the number of volunteers our annual fees are lower than most other planned communities.
Thank you for your interest in Driftwood Key. It is a great place to live!
